I know that Rosemary is just playing the role of mentor character like other past Precures have had, but I like him. He just talks about beauty tips and asks others to call him Mary like it’s second nature, and everyone’s totally okay with it. He knows immediately who he is.

Also it’s sort of funny how the fried chicken fairy just has a big ol’ lemon wedge for a hat.

Yeah, Mary is definitely a very confident guy and charming too. He's gonna be an enjoyable character throughout the season.

Also for that last part. Imma be honest, I'm not a fan of putting lemon squeeze on fried chicken. I don't need the sour tangy taste to compliment the chicken. It's taste is fine as it is

I love how excited Mary was that yui's mom wanted to hear the beauty tips

I wanted to hear more of them, too. :(

It's nice to see a supporting character getting some few action scenes early on, than the usual I only do this epic scene for character development at 2nd to last episode of every series
also Mary's meme face will be super popular

Also Rosemary will be stuck in the human world for a while since his delicious stone broke down.

Hope those aren't too difficult to replace.

Another great episode as usual. Usually the 2nd or 3rd episode would probably introduce the next Cure, but i think it's the best move to further develop Yui and Mary's relationship.

I like how Mary really looks out and is generally for Yui, but she definitely has convinced him for sure. And they're tram up too. Man, imma be sad once that all the cures are assembled, Mary will just hang back at the sidelines. But it was worth it

I like the way Yui is getting more and more into her role as a PreCure!

WEek 2 Of Day 2 Delicious Party Precure Okay So I noticed a Few things toei made from this series the Watch form and the receipeppi to collect is a like from series yes yes gogo precure , the villian look a like is from suite precure , the chef cooking parent and heart is from doki doki precure and finally the smile and happiness is from kira kira precure a few things to notice which is perfect for a cooking series a like! Forgot to say the formation almost looks like hugtto precure / the squeeze for komi komi is from healing precure.

There's also that intro Mary did with the flower thing. It's a direct reference to the Heartcatch Cures end transformation lines

I'm still bothered that Kome-Kome turns into a riceball and gets eaten by Yui in order to start her transformation. Sure, it's a kids show, so Kome-Kome pops out unharmed immediately afterward, but that "Sharing Energy!" chow-down is still weird.

I'm not used to everything being narrated by a disembodied voice, but I'm getting used to it. I do like how Rosemary is so far the only one who questioned "Despite being the legendary precure, this middle school child has a family. Am I really going to let her fight for me and my kingdom?" lol

I also like how they have a strategy that actually feels very thought out so early. Precious is new to the whole battle thing, so having Rosemary make up strategies to help them save the day is so good. It feels like there aren't any backseat side characters on team Cure this season. Things are looking pretty nice so far on episode 2. Hope it keeps being good.

That was nice, although I'm still really in love with this season.

So, I just noticed something, this is a Japanese series and the main character is named "Precious", most likely because food, especially the staple rice, is highly precious in Japanese society and was even the money at one time in the past

Rose Mary is definitely standing out in a big way🤗 bit gonna lie wasn't sure if I was gonna feel her but she's growing on me & I luv it #Snaps Yaaaassssss😉. The writers totally used a lot of attributes from past Precure series which is totally cool but as a fan I was hoping for sumthing much different with this freshly minted series of Precure. Like different powers and abilities and a some what different story🤔 plz by no means is this shade to the creators my luvs just saying for me Just wanted to see a different spin or different direction with the popular franchise.... Always & 4ever a Precure fan luv my girls

Is it part of the cliche tropes that they can't tell her? BECAUSE it really isn't a good reason. SURE you can argue the reason would be "she would be worried about her daughter's safety and forbid her from fightning" But... i don't know... seems like "secret identity because it is staple of hero stories"
Is like how some seasons of Power Rangers have them use secret identities... despite sometimes not having reasons to have them
Like the Lost Galaxy team. They are in Terra Venture, a space colony heading into outer space outside Earth, and if anything, the higher ups kinda knew so, "why keep the secret identity?" (especially considering the previous team revealed theirs in the series finale, so, why keep secret identity?)
LATER TEAMS i get them keeping it a secret but some don't have an actual reason to do so

It's usually so the fact that they're precures don't get out. Unlike Power Rangers who gets civilian powers these are just normal girls so if they aren't careful they can get sniped before transforming, and considering how apprehensive Rosemary is at letting a legendary warrior fight, he (she? What is this person's gender?) would most likely want to keep people without powers away from the fight
